At just thirty-one, Hailey approached her health journey with an unfathomable level of grace, bravery, and selflessness. She chose to spend her last moments with loved ones, doing what she loved most, and without regrets, defying the doctors’ timelines despite the obstacles in her path.

Hailey was given a leukaemia diagnosis in October 2023. But in an encouraging development, she declared on her GoFundMe page in April that she had received a bone marrow transplant and was now cancer-free.

This little moment of optimism, however, was dashed when Hailey learnt the horrifying news that the leukaemia cells had come back and were growing quickly.

Hailey’s immediate response to receiving this news demonstrated her extraordinary empathy for others. She said, “I don’t care about myself anymore, but I can’t bear being the cause of so much pain for the people I love.” Hailey’s altruism was a shining example of her kind and compassionate disposition.

Hailey’s family statement perfectly captures who she was as a person. They recall her as never dull, always hilariously humorous, and living life to the fullest in the current time.
