Melania’s absence from the Christmas family photo revealed Amalija’s illness. Donald Trump said that his wife was missing because she was caring for her mother’s deteriorating health.

Melania’s parents have always stood by her and her sister. They have been extremely supportive and have done everything in their ability to ensure a wonderful life for their daughters. Even when Melania and her sister Ines were very small, Amalija and Viktor took them on travels around Europe, including France, Italy, and Germany.

Melania gave a speech in the White House Rose Garden to thank her parents after Trump became President.

At his campaign event, Trump also mentioned his late mother-in-law and expressed gratitude for everything she had done for his family and his son.

“I want to thank her incredible, lovely mother who passed away a few days ago,” she remarked. And she’s well up there. “She’s looking down and is so proud of us,” he told the audience.

“And I just want to say to Amalija, you are special, one of the most special people I’ve ever known,” she said.

Trump continued, “Fantastic people, fantastic parents to all of us, honestly. Excellent parents, but also to Barron. She took great care of Barron. That’s how he grew so tall; he just ate her food.

“I told you were going to be a basketball player. He said, “Well, Dad, I actually enjoy soccer.” “I thought…” At your height, I prefer basketball, but you can’t persuade everyone,” Trump said, adding that Barron was a “wonderful youngster.”

On the day of Amelija’s funeral, the family demonstrated how united and close they are.
