Fearful, Prince William “Blindsided by lust,” Prince Harry was with Meghan Markle

After more than six years of marriage, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now parents. Although their lavish wedding in May 2018 was magnificent, tensions soon began to flare. Two years after the couple departed the royal life, their previously wonderful relationship with their UK family—Prince William and Kate Middleton among them—has vanished.

Just two years have passed since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first London blind date. After falling in love right away, Meghan Markle made the decision to come to the UK to be with her partner.

But not all of Prince Harry’s family members were happy about his seeming unbridled love for Meghan. One royal biographer claims that Prince William told his brother to slow down because he sensed something wasn’t quite right. The romance between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry dates back many years. In 2016, a friend of Meghan Markle arranged a date for the couple.

William allegedly remarked to his brother, “Take as much time as you need to get to know this girl,” and “Don’t feel you need to rush this.”

Scobie and Durand went on to state that Harry was offended by the term “the girl” and was “pissed off” that William had even asked him to take it slow. William, according to Omid Scobie, who has always maintained strong ties to the Sussexes, “just wanted to make sure that Harry wasn’t blindsided by lust.” Though this was said in secret to his assistants, William is also said to have expressed reservations about how swiftly his brother’s relationship progressed.

According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail and was later disclosed by the Express, “William soon began to wonder about some of Meghan’s traits and motivations.”

“He was concerned that she occasionally gave the impression that she was more focused on her own reputation or advancement than the larger objectives of the Royal Family.” William chose to suppress such emotions, nevertheless. Why? Because, as the insider puts it, he “desperately wanted her to be happy and appreciated the huge adjustment of entering the Royal Family”
