Politics is no longer Ivanka Trump’s thing: “Not her circus, not her monkeys
Ivanka Trump is removing herself from the political limelight, even if her father, Donald Trump, has secured the 2024 presidential nomination. According to the Daily Mail, Ivanka, a former key counsellor to her father, has made the decision not to enter politics again, according to a source close to the Trump family.
The decision was made in response to the January 6th uprising and her subpoena during the inquiry into her father’s efforts to maintain his position of authority. According to the source, “she felt like she was being asked to reveal something about which she knew nothing, and she never wants to be in [that] position again.”
Ivanka, who has always put her family first, is concentrating on her kids and personal business endeavours. “She is now concentrating on being a mother and other private endeavours because her family is very important to her,” the person continued. This time, Ivanka hasn’t been really involved with the campaign.
This time, she has no problem giving Lara [Trump] the reins. Not her monkeys, not her circus. Ivanka Trump’s brother Eric’s wife, Lara Trump, has become more involved in the 2024 campaign, going to rallies and making appearances alongside her father-in-law. She co-chairs the Republican National Committee as well.
Given her prior remarks after missing the 2022 campaign kickoff, Ivanka’s absence from the 2024 campaign is hardly shocking. According to Business Insider, she said at the time, “I adore my dad.” This time, I’m going to put my kids and the private life we’re building as a family first. I have no intention of getting involved in politics.
Ivanka took on a more prominent role throughout her father’s campaigns in 2016 and 2020, supporting him at multiple rallies around the nation. She made a rare appearance at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, but she did not accompany him on the campaign road this year.
As she stood separate from her family in a gorgeous white suit, several detractors speculated that Ivanka was subtly endorsing Democrats by donning the non-Republican hue. Judi James, a body language specialist, offered commentary on the shift in Ivanka’s position within the political dynamics of the family. “Ivanka’s stage positioning and body language behaviour defined her more as First Lady than Trump’s daughter when Trump became the 45th President of the United States,” James stated.
However, James pointed out that Ivanka has been reduced to a more supporting role and Melania Trump has taken centre stage in the public eye. James continued, pointing out that Ivanka was positioned further away from her father and other important family members at the conference, saying, “You have to look to find Ivanka now.” Ivanka kept her attention on her family life in the run-up to the election, posting introspective thoughts on Instagram instead of participating in political debates.
After turning forty-three, she shared a list of life lessons she has learnt, emphasising the value of forgiveness, family, and friends. Ivanka’s goals have obviously changed as she embraces a more sedate, private existence away from the spotlight of politics. How do you feel about this circumstance?
