Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received harsh criticism for their trip to Colombia

Following their departure from the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are setting out on their second “royal” tour. The royals were apparently incensed after the Sussexes visited Nigeria a few months ago, and it’s possible that things won’t be improving in the near future.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Bogota, Colombia, on Thursday. There, they will support programs aimed at shielding kids from dangers they may encounter online. Vice President Francia Márquez welcomed the newlyweds upon their arrival, and Harry and Meghan quickly became well-known.

Harry appeared unhappy at times, according to a body language expert, but the couple has already faced backlash for travelling to Colombia.

A royal specialist voiced worries about Harry and Meghan travelling with their kids. Furthermore, a second insider questioned whether the pair had been truthful about the reason for the trip just hours before they arrived in Bogota.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the royal family, they desired a more private existence. Following a brief stay in Canada, they made their home at the enormous mansion known as “Fort Knox” in Montecito, California.

He questioned who is footing the bill for the Sussexes’ “luxury accommodations,” airfare, and security, as well as whether they are just a “shiny distraction to keep the people from looking too closely at the cracks in the walls.” In an interview with the Daily Mail, a different royal insider expressed worries that Harry and Meghan could be “manipulated” by the recently elected Colombian administration.

The source told Sky, “I’m sure Meghan and Harry mean well, but everyone here is talking about how obviously they are being manipulated.” Naturally, their celebrity will be utilised to draw attention to the underprivileged and specific facets of Colombian culture.

But the truth is that since taking office two years ago, the Colombian government has been engulfed in corruption.
