Prince William and Kate Middleton intend to spare Prince Louis from the “Spare curse

It’s unlikely that Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte, his elder sister, would ever ascend to the throne. Prince George, the son of Prince William, is second in line of succession and is eventually expected to lead the British monarchy. As they become older, Louis and his Charlotte will play a significant part in the Firm even if they may never hold a throne.

Prince Harry, who is no longer with them, has already voiced his worries about Charlotte and Louis’s future, publicly stating that he fears they will be Prince George’s “spare,” much as he was for Prince William. Yet William and Kate Middleton have reportedly chosen a different course for the youngsters regarding their childhood.

As time goes on, the Royal Family and its establishments undergo changes. Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte may be impacted by the fact that their children aren’t being raised in the same manner as, say, Prince Harry and Prince William, because the monarchy plays a very different position in society now.

A recent story suggests that Prince William and Kate Middleton may have certain plans for their youngest son, some of which may have to do with Harry’s upbringing. Prince Louis is maturing quickly. As unbelievable as it may seem, the prince turned six in April and has grown to be a bit of a favourite among royal enthusiasts.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, Louis rose to the fourth place in line for the British throne. The young prince is, like many who came before him, expected to play a significant role as a senior member of the Royal Family in the future, much like Princess Anne, the sister of King Charles, does now, even though it is unlikely that he will ever become king.

The Prince and Princess of Wales “must be acutely aware” of the issues that could arise with Prince Louis—and Princess Charlotte—being a “spare,” according to royal expert Jennie Bond, despite the fact that Prince Harry infuriated his brother and Kate Middleton with many of the accusations and remarks made in his book and earlier interviews. “They’ll do everything to make Charlotte and Louis feel every bit as special, loved, and valued as George,” Bond told the Mirror. “They have already shown that they have a different and modern attitude to bringing up royal children.”

“I think they’ll push Louis to venture outside the royal family. After completing his studies, he can choose to join the military, work for a charity, or pursue any other career path that interests him. They both loved university, where they obviously found love, so I’m sure they’ll encourage him to attend.

“And from there they will want him to find a life that is meaningful to him as well as appropriate for the son of a future King,” the royal expert went on. Regardless of his position in the line of succession, they will make an effort to make sure he feels like he is leading a meaningful life. This will likely entail providing some sort of service because they have made it clear from the beginning that they want their kids to know that showing empathy for others is not only a kind gesture but also a fulfilling one.

William and Kate may, as Bond said, encourage Louis to explore other interests and venture outside of the realm of the royal family.
