Reasons in favour of removing Prince Louis’s royal titles

Prince Louis is growing up in the Royal Family’s new era. Prince William and Kate Middleton, his parents, are concentrating on modernising the monarchy and, consequently, their child-rearing practices. In the meantime, the little prince will probably never become king and is fourth in line of succession after his father and two elder siblings.

Like many of the siblings of kings and queens before him, Louis does, however, have a significant role to perform within the Royal Family.

But does he really deserve to live in the shadow of his older brother, Prince George, all the time? Perhaps the Royal Family should make the audacious decision to deprive the younger children of their royal titles and allow them to make their own life decisions.

Prince Harry would always be known as the “spare,” a position that put him behind his older brother and was, in the Duke’s own words, not very important. It must have been difficult to grow up under William’s shadow, who was being groomed to become king someday, and Harry finally made the decision to leave.

Speaking out, the alienated prince expressed his concern that Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis may suffer the same fate as him in the future and not receive the same level of care as Prince George, who will one day rule as king.

According to all accounts, William and Kate Middleton wish to bring the monarchy up to date and bring up their kids in a typical manner. But isn’t it time for Charlotte and Louis to make their own decisions about their futures if that’s what they’re aiming for, “normal”?

Even though it may sound like a crazy move, I believe that Charlotte and Louis would gain a great deal by having their royal titles revoked. In short, the monarchy should allow its younger members make their own decisions.

First and foremost, some people consider the royal titles to be an archaic tradition. Removing the titles would help connect the Royal Family with the public, who have been subjected to a lot of criticism in recent years. Furthermore, wouldn’t it increase their popularity as well?
